Our retractable awnings come in the canvas of any color or style. We have the capabilities to make safe, stable awnings that span up to 40 feet wide and project out up to 14 feet. Our automated retractable awnings come with a special sensor in them to stabilize the arm during strong winds that may catch you by surprise. These also include a manual override in case of a power outage.
Usage & Repair
To avoid damage during inclement weather, make sure that your awning is retracted if a storm is brewing or if you are not at home. It is best to have your awning extended only when you are using it! This will also extend the life of your awning. If lateral arm retractable awnings are left out in the storm or strong winds, the lateral arm may be subject to damage and can even be broken. Capital Awning can help if this happens; we can replace every part on the awning that may be damaged.
Maintenance for Your Awning
Like stationary canvas awnings, your retractable canvas awning should be cleaned once a year with a stiff brush, mild soap, and lukewarm water. Simple hose your awning down and scrub in gentle, even circles, making sure to rinse the awning before the soap dries into the threads.
Your awning should also be waterproofed once a year for the best long-term results.
